BLC Goa is the second Children's home opened. This home was opened in March 2001.
There are 30 children at this Center. Out of this, 25 are attending School.
There are 4 Staff workers to look after the children. They live at the campus with the children. Often, volunteers from different parts of the World also stays at the campus.
This home is located in Panaji in the State of Goa, situated on the western coastline of India. The pricipal languages are Konkani and Marathi. The beautiful coast line of Goa and its beautiful beaches are well known to one and all. Goa was ruled by the Portuguese for 451 years and liberated from their rule on 19th December 196. It remained a Union territory for 26 years and gained full fledged statehood on August 12th 1987.
