BLC Andhra Pradesh is the first Children's home opened. This home was opened in December 2000.
Today 26 children are being loved and cared for. A lot of kids are on the waiting list, but the space is limited. The Life Center is located in a rented building with limited space.
There are 4 Staff workers to look after the children. They live at the campus with the children.
This home is located in Warangal, a City in Andhra Pradesh, a state in the southern region of India. The principal languages are Telungu and Urdu. Agriculture is the main occupation of about 70 percent of the people in Andhra Pradesh. The main crops are rice, maize, millets, pulses, castor, tobacco, cotton, sugarcane, groundnut and banana. The covered forest area in the state is about 23 percent, and important forest products include teak, eucalyptus, cashew, bamboo and soft wood.
